The world No. 31 is taking time to recover from a wrist and toe p

After crashing out in the first round of the US Open, Ana Ivanovic announced she is cutting her season short. The world No. 31 is taking time to heal a wrist injury and a repair a broken toe (that she injured during the Australian Open back in 2015... yikes).

In New York, the Serb fell to Denisa Allertova, 7-6 (4), 6-1, which is now the last match of her 2016 season.

Still, it's not all doom and gloom for the recently married 28-year-old. She's still pretty busy modeling, sharing some stunning pictures from L'Equipe.

Everyone wishes they looked that good lounging in the grass in a tight dress.

The spread was for L'Equipe's Sport and Style magazine, which featured Ivanovic as the cover girl.

Sweet shades, right? Ivanovic will look to be back on court in 2017.
