Surprise! Nick Kyrgios has some new beef, but this time it’s not with Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic.

In an interview with Swedish tennis website *Tennisportalen*, Casper Ruud made some choice remarks about Kyrgios, in which he called the Aussie “completely crazy” and that he had behaved like an “idiot” on court.

Ruud was referencing their most recent encounter in Rome, where Kyrgios, in an accidental homage to the great Bobby Knight, threw a chair on the court and was promptly defaulted from the match.

After the disqualification, Ruud made sure to celebrate his victory. He was understandably excited, as a first-round victory over Kyrgios was a big win for the 20-year-old Norwegian, even if it was by default.

A displeased Kyrgios was quick to respond to Ruud’s recent comments.

Kyrgios didn’t stop there…

But wait! He's wasn't done yet!

It's certainly a bold move by Kyrgios, given he is in the middle of a six-month probationary period. He received the suspended sentence after incurring a record-setting $113,000 fine in Cincinnati for his actions during an eventual second-round defeat to Karen Khachanov.

Ruud is set to compete in the Next Gen ATP Finals tournament in Milan beginning November 5th.
