Kyrgios pulls double duty with tweeners against Zverev

On Tuesday, during his third-round match in Indian Wells against Alexander Zverev, Nick Kyrgios served—and "tweener-ed"—his way to a 6-3, 6-4 win.

The world No. 16 produced some hot shots in the 73-minute match, specifically two tweeners that sent the crowd roaring. The first came in the beginning of the match when Kygrios flicks the ball in between his legs, causing Zverev to sink his volley into the net.

The second came in the second set when the 19-year-old launched a lob, only for Kyrgios to nonchalantly walk over to the ball and hit a beautiful shot, turning the point in his favor.

Kyrgios faces Novak Djokovic in the fourth round on Wednesday. The meeting comes only two weeks after the Australian stunned the world No. 2 in Acapulco in their first tour-level meeting.
