Another day, another Nick Kyrgios headline—but this time it's a little different.

The Australian made a case for double standards after an incident involving Daria Gavrilova in Acapulco. During her first-round match against Madison Brengle, Gavrilova threw her racquet across the court in frustration and almost hit a ball person.

Had it made contact, it would have resulted in a disqualification from the tournament. Even without contact, it could have resulted in a warning, fine or a point penalty. However, Gavrilova walked away without incident, calling to mind the 2016 French Open when Novak Djokovic nearly took out a linesman (it could have cost him his title).

On Twitter, Kyrgios made the comment that if he committed the same outburst, he would have faced ramifications, insinuating a double standard.

In any case, Gavrilova won the match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
