Bianca Andreescu’s Day 6 at the US Open was sporty spice and everything nice, from her outfit to her straight set win.

The No. 6 seed rocked NikeCourt's fall collection for her 67 minute third-round match. The Canadian eased past Greet Minnen 6-1, 6-2. The bold, primary colored kits have made their mark in Flushing Meadows this year and offer a wide variety of styles. Andreescu opted for the red and blue pleated skirt and matching short sleeved shirt to score the look of the day.

The whole fit has a retro vibe to it, something one might see at a 1950’s pep rally or diner. The reds and blues are vivid and distinctive, but the details are what really rack up the style points. A white and blue striped collar added a jersey-like feel to the look, and also matched the trim on the sleeves. The top third of the shirt was made of a different mesh material than the rest of it, and the Nike swoosh is embossed on the upper left corner. White wristbands and a visor kept the accessories clean, and suddenly, the outfit went from preppy schoolgirl to danger on the court.

When it came to the match itself, Andreescu unleashed pure power against Greet Minnen and dropped only three games to find victory. The 2019 US Open champion was looking just like she did the year she took the title in New York, and she very well might do it again in 2021.

Andreescu’s next obstacle will be Maria Sakkari come Monday.
