The hottest ticket in town during tennis' offseason wasn't a beach in Dubai, or a villa in the Maldives, but an invite to Madison Keys and Bjorn Fratangelo's wedding, held on Saturday in Charleston, S.C.

The 2017 US Open finalist Keys and Fratangelo, the former junior Roland Garros winner and ATP world No. 99 who stepped away from consistent competitive play to coach her, started dating in 2017 and got engaged last year. The couple, who live together in Orlando, subsequently tied the knot in front of family and friends, and as it turned out, more than a fair few ATP and WTA players in the Lowcountry, who dutifully chronicled all the fun had on social media.

Among the attendees? Current tour players Jennifer Brady, Desirae Krawczyk, Mitchell Krueger, Jessica Pegula, Sloane Stephens and Taylor Townsend, plus retired players Kristie Ahn, Irina Falconi and Laura Robson.

Letting their guests take care of the posting in the hours leading up to and after the special day, Fratangelo and Keys both shared sweet messages to their guest, and too each other, in their own posts.

“Can’t put into words how amazing this day was,” Fratangelo wrote on Instagram.

“I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you," he wrote to Keys.

Keys in turn dubbed it "the best weekend of [her] life," with a photo of the happy couple sharing a kiss.

"To everyone with us, you all made it beyond what we could have imagined," added Fratangelo to their guests.
