Mattek-Sands returns to Arizona, seeks Phelps celebration

The Rio mixed doubles champion is taking her victory laps.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands is ready to celebrate. The gold medalist has returned home to Arizona, and couldn't help noticing that a fellow Olympic champion had also recently touched down.

Mattek-Sands won gold in mixed doubles with Jack Sock, and she's making her victory laps. After appearing on the Today Show with Sock, the 31-year-old threw out the first pitch for the Arizona Diamonds with her medal hanging around her neck.

Mattek-Sands is a multiple Grand Slam title winner (two doubles and two mixed doubles), but she's really loving gold right now, and who can blame her?
