Tommy Paul talks losing "toughest final of my career" to Matteo Berrettini in Nothing Major Hottie Bracket

For future Olive Garden guest Matteo Berrettini, it turns out when you’re here, you’re a hottie.

Berrettini collected his hilarious prize for winning the Nothing Major Podcast’s inaugural Hottie Bracket at the BNP Paribas Open, a 15-dollar gift card to the notorious Italian restaurant chain courtesy of co-hosts Steve Johnson and Sam Querrey.

The former world No. 6 and part-time model swept through the field, defeating American Tommy Paul in a championship match that, by all accounts, put the “hot” in “hotly contested.”

Runner-up Paul jokingly lamented the defeat during his visit to the Tennis Channel BMW Desk after his third-round victory over Cameron Norrie on Sunday.

“I go to sleep every night wanting to be Matteo,” said Paul, who has done some modeling of his own in the past.

But the No. 10 seed won’t leave Indian Wells empty-handed. Johnson and Querrey presented Paul with his very own finalist trophy. Paul looks thrilled to have received it.

The question remains: will Berrettini emerge from his Tour of Italy™ to defend his title in 2026?
