With the WTA Finals action set to begin on November 10 in Guadalajara, a few of the world's top names are already trickling in. On Wednesday, players touched down and were greeted with the warmest of welcomes at the airport.

A full Mariachi band awaited all players when they landed. Wearing traditional charro suits and sombreros, the band played traditional Mexican music, which included singing and dancing as fans gathered to catch a glimpse.

Here's a look at who has arrived so far:

1. Giuliana Olmos

Within the first batch of arrivals, Mexico's very own Giuliana Olmos was one of them and was met with pure excitement from fans and media reporters. Currently ranked No. 24 in doubles, Olmos is making her debut at the prestigious year-end event and she's also making history.

She is officially the first Mexican player to qualify for the WTA Finals and will be playing alongside Sharon Fichman. The two captured Rome's WTA 1000 event where they took out two doubles pairings also competing in Guadalajara, Hsieh Su-Wei/Elise Mertens and Shuko Aoyama/Ena Shibahara.
