Over the past three months, Mike Bryan has had to do a lot of things without his brother, Bob. He's played the French Open with Sam Querrey, won Wimbledon with Jack Sock and sat alone at the top of the ATP doubles rankings.

And, on Monday night, Mike had to do something else that he normally does with his twin, when he had the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds game.

Just like in his tennis results lately, Mike ending up doing just fine sans Bob, throwing a strike.

The actual game, though, wasn't a great one for Cincinnati. The Reds lost 10-3 to their cross-state rivals, the Cleveland Indians.

Bob, who's been out injured, underwent hip surgery earlier this month.

But based on his level of optimism, there's no doubt that the twins will be out there throwing first pitches together again soon.
