Paris, the City of Light ... and the city where dreams come true, at least if you're Mirra Andreeva. On the eve of Roland Garros, the 17-year-old (and, as we've established, the WTA's biggest Andy Murray fan) finally mustered up enough courage to ask the former world No. 1 to take a picture with her.

Andreeva posted the photo to her Instagram story on Friday, much to the delight of tennis fans on social media.

"Finally," one user commented about the photo, while another dubbed it: "Cuteness overload."

"She going to frame this too, isn't she?" a third wrote, referencing the promise Andreeva made at the Australian Open to frame a complimentary tweet that the Scot posted about her.

In the caption, the youngster, who reached the third round in Paris last year in her debut, called her return this year already "so far, so good."

Andreeva's endearing hero-worship Murray, whom she's called an idol, was one of the hallmarks of her prodigious pro-level debut in 2023: She famously dubbed the Scot "so beautiful" upon first laying eyes on him in person at the Mutua Madrid Open.

"Imagine how good she’s going to be when she gets her eyes fixed," he quipped in response on X, formerly Twitter.

Later last year, at Wimbledon, Andreeva finally met Murray, but said she was "too shy" to strike up a conversation.

"When I see him I try to leave the facility super quick, just to not have to talk to him!" she said.

What a difference a year makes.
