Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael ... and Jannik? Jannik Sinner might be Italy's next great artist, having recently showed off his painting skills in a video for Tennis Channel.

The newly-minted Grand Slam semifinalist was just as well-known for his skiing prowess as he was his tennis game in his youth, and the 21-year-old might've taken inspiration from all those experiences in his painting of a scenic landscape.

By the time he finished, Sinner's scene featured a bright, yellow sun, peaceful mountains, and pine trees. Like any good artist, he marked his work, and signed off his masterpiece with a signature, and "Made by Sinner."

But don't ask the northern Italian if he was inspired by a scene from his home country, or somewhere else.

"I still have to figure out what it is," Sinner said, "but it's not so bad!"

Seeded seventh this week at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Toronto, Sinner was equally masterful with his tennis racquet in a 6-4, 6-3 win over compatriot Matteo Berrettini in his first match. After Andy Murray withdrew from their highly-anticipated third round Thursday night with an abdominal injury, Sinner will next face a resurgent Gael Monfils in Friday's quarterfinals.

But Sinner's other skills might get dusted off into the weekend, too. Other players have made no secret of their own artistic talents this week after big wins north of the border, with and Marcos Giron (a moose) among those inspired by local iconography.

Will Canadian tennis fans be the next people privy to Sinner's off-court talents?
