on a personal mission to make tennis cool again

Tennis is pretty awesome, but the game is still relatively small compared to many other sports. Just in case not everyone knows about the game that starts with love and how amazing it is, Morgan Riddle is here to remind us all. Riddle is Taylor Fritz's girlfriend and spends much of her time traveling the world alongside the ATP world No. 19. So, who better to lead the charge in making tennis cool again?

If you've watched Netflix's Formula 1: Drive to Survive which gives viewers a front-row seat into the day-to-day lives of top F1 drivers, the same producers are headed into the world of tennis. Netflix's new tennis series will give an unfiltered look at some of the world's top names and their journey around the globe, which includes Riddle's boyfriend. The show debuts next year, but filming began at last month's Australian Open.

Riddle is getting a head start on putting the sport on her followers radars'. She took to TikTok on Friday to provide a quick snapshot on why fans should watch tennis and maybe even consider attending an event this year.

"Tennis tournaments are not your average casual sporting events with hot dogs and beer," Riddle says. "You can expect champagne, strawberries and cream, Nobu and getting to wear really cute outfits.

"If you're looking for a sign to go to a tennis tournament this year, this is it."

She's certainly not wrong, instead of eating peanuts and Cracker Jacks, fans oftentimes indulge in world class food paired with wine or another frosty beverage. Wimbledon has the Pimm's Cup, the US Open has the Honey Deuce and even non-major events, such as Indian Wells offer fine dining like Nobu on site. Tennis tournaments offer a different kind of fan experience and the on-court action never disappoints as players give all they have to grab match wins.

Riddle will continue to give her over 30,000 followers on Instagram and 200k plus on TikTok updated with the latest and greatest the sport has to offer. Even notable tennis journalist, Blair Henley approves of Riddle's efforts and is wondering when she can purchase her "make tennis cool again" hat.
