Mr. and Mrs. Monfils: Elina and Gael say "I do" in lake-side ceremony 

Rejoice all G.E.M.S.life fans! Your favorite couple have finally tied the knot in a beautiful lake-side ceremony. There's much speculation on where the ceremony and reception was located, but it's most likely somewhere in Europe as both Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils were spotted in Monte Carlo just days before the wedding.

Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils have been together since 2018, but it wasn’t until earlier this year in April that the Frenchman popped the question and set the date for July. The couple gave G.E.M.S.life fans a rollercoaster of a ride following this year's Australian Open when they announced they were taking some time apart. Fans couldn't have predicted a proposal would happen just months later and now the two are husband and wife.

The couple looked perfect together while taking photos with friends and family. Music artist and actor Christina Milan was among the short guest list and was beaming with excitement for the newlyweds in her recent Instagram Story.

Monfils of course ditched the traditional black-and-white suit for a purple one with a statement blue tie, while Svitolina wore an OFF-WHITE bridal jumpsuit designed by renowned fashion designer Virgil Abloh. Her look was tied together by purple accents and a purple bouquet to match her new hubby.

Although not confirmed, the new bride’s Instagram stories left fans speculating that the wedding ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Geneva in Switzerland.
