The WTA just released brilliant footage of its players trying their hand at origami a few weeks ago in Tokyo. The art of paper folding is no simple task as Garbine Mugurza, Karolina Pliskova, Carla Suarez Navarro and Agnieszka Radwanska quickly found out.

"I’m going to do the swan," Muguruza said. "Because it’s like the most difficult so at least I don’t look bad if I do it wrong." (The book they were all referencing was titled Easy Origami.)

The Spaniard would end up being the most successful, despite some ups and downs.

"It’s my first time," Radwanska said. "So if the flower is going to be ugly, forgive me… I just hope nobody is going to give me [this] kind of flower."

The Pole asked for help early on, and then for glue (which is frowned upon in origami). While Pliskova's "horse" ended up looking more than a little bit... off.

None of the players gave up despite plenty of setbacks, which is a direct reflection of their determination on court—all four are (or have been) in the Top 10 after all.
