Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic made their way to the ATP Masters 1000 event in Paris after playing in an exhibition match in Kazakhstan.

The two Grand Slam champions faced off in front of a 11,000 strong crowd at the Barys Arena in Nur-Sultan. They went the distance with Nadal posting a 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 victory. The match had no shortage of spectacular play and it also had moments of laughter from the typically serious players.

The world No. 1 and No. 2 are now preparing for their last event before heading to the ATP Finals in London. However, their tournament preparations were a little different this time around, with Nadal and Djokovic continuing to share the court, from Kazakstan to Paris.

The action in Paris begins on Monday.
