It's 40-30 in the fifth set, and Nadal is serving for the win. But wait a second—who is his opponent? None other than Mario. Nintendo's famous plumber has switched his overalls for shorts and a racquet.

Nadal appears in the game company's newest commercial for Mario Tennis Aces, the latest entry in the Mario Tennis franchise. The 17-time Grand Slam champion plays against a stubborn Mario before finally overcoming in a climatic final shot. In the end, they both sign the camera, putting aside their rivalry for friendship.

In real tennis, Nadal has been seeded second at Wimbledon. He chose to take a break from the start of the grass season after winning his 11th Roland Garros title.
