Rafael Nadal is readying for an intense week on court in Indian Wells. Not only is he in the "group of death" quarter, but he's also in the doubles draw with Bernard Tomic. But first, he let loose on the soccer field with a young fan.

The three-time champion talked about his experiences at Indian Wells, which has a unique atmosphere for bringing fans closer to the players.

"I think for everybody it's probably the best Masters 1000 in the word, " Nadal said.

Young Mason got a chance to spar with the 14-time Grand Slam champion, but not on the tennis court. The two turned to soccer, one of Nadal's beloved childhood sports.
