While Roger Federer is off the tour after undergoing knee surgery, it's hard for him to not still find a way to win. On Monday, it was announced that his RF logo that has been associated with his Nike clothing for the majority of his career is now officially his.

From 1994, Federer was with Nike, but in March of 2018 his contract expired and Uniqlo offered a contract reportedly worth $300 million for over ten years. It took two years for Federer to gain rights to his famous RF monogrammed symbol.

Federer or Uniqlo have not stated whether or not they plan to use the newly acquired logo.

Normally think there is no right time for an injury. But, Federer has seemed to find the sweet spot with Indian Wells being called off. The cancellation is the first in the tournament's 46-year history, and many couldn't help but point to a silver lining.

So his timing is not only superb on the court but also off of it.

Due to the spreading coronavirus, Indian Wells might not be the only big tournament cancelled this spring.

As of Wednesday, the Miami Open is still scheduled to continue on as normal.
