Cracking heavy forehands all day seems to be something that most players can achieve. However, when it comes to the serve, things can be lackluster and just not as powerful as the forehand. But, what if taking elements from the forehand groundstroke were transferred over to the serve?

On forehands it's common to take your left hand back with the racquet. This allows players to be balanced and release with power. This same movement can also be done on the serve.
