Naomi Osaka is making every second count during her offseason, and despite not playing since the US Open she's been making headlines almost daily. After capturing her third major title, she has been busy advocating for social justice, launching her first signature Nike line, starring in PlayStation 5 promos, and now she is entering the anime realm.

The world No. 3 has gone full anime and has been transformed into "Unrivaled Naomi Tenkaichi," an anime character for Nakayoshi magazine.

The manga magazine's first issue was back in 1954, making it one of the longest running manga publications. Osaka's special debut as an anime character is set to run in the February issue, which will be released at the end of December.

"Growing up reading manga/watching anime was something that bonded me and my sister immensely so this is really exciting for both of us," Osaka wrote on Twitter.

Naomi's artistic sister Mari supervised the cartoon transformation, making it a very special collaboration for the Osaka family.

Osaka played just four tournaments this season, reaching the final of the Western and Southern Open and edging past Victoria Azarenka to hoist her second US Open trophy.
