Live on Good Morning America from Florida, Naomi Osaka shared some insight into what her mom and sister said after she won the Australian Open and what advice she'd give to anyone looking up to her. She also unveiled that her pump-up song for the fortnight was, appropriately, Jay Rock's "Win."

Osaka's father, Leonard Francois, was with her in Melbourne to witness her win her second Grand Slam title in a row, over Petra Kvitova in three sets.

She called her mom, Tamaki Osaka, probably expecting congratulations, but getting a lecture instead.

"My mom she was upset at me and she kind of yelled at me to go to sleep," Osaka said. "I think [getting rest] was the most important thing for her."

With her win, Osaka is the new No. 1, becoming the first Asian ever to reach the top of the rankings. Her rise has inspired a lot of people's respect, both young and old, and Osaka has some advice for them.

"I would just say everyone has their own paths so you should just keep going," the 21-year-old said. "And never give up and don’t compare yourself to other people."
