Sure Naomi Osaka is on a nine-match winning streak and is off to a solid start in Melbourne this week, but have you seen her kicks? Her Nike shoes have everyone asking, where they can buy a pair? Unless you live in Japan, these sneakers won't be available, at least at the moment.

The NikeCourt AirZoom GP Turbo shoes are only selling on Nike's Japanese website. The shoes celebrate Osaka's multi-cultural heritage and it also showcases her new "NO" logo.

"Naomi" in Japanese is written on a gold metallic circle on the back of the coveted shoes. Maneki-neko, an iconic Japanese cat known to bring good luck, appears on the side of the shoe holding a tennis racquet with a Nike Swoosh stenciled across its strings.

Maneki-neko can also be found on the insoles in an abstract print that encompasses the colors of Haiti, Japan and the United States.

While fans are disappointed they can't get their hands on Osaka's court shoes, due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback, they might become available globally.

The world No. 3 is through to the Gippsland Trophy's quarterfinals, and will square off against Irina-Camelia Begu next.
