Daria Kasatkina has grown more and more comfortable in front of the camera over the last 18 months as the popularity of her and girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako's joint behind-the-scenes vlog that tells the story of the tennis tour has exploded. And on Hollywood's biggest night, the world No. 12 was making her cinematic opinions known as she delivered live commentary of the Oscars on X, formerly Twitter.

The Russian flashed her stan card in support of friend-of-tennis Emma Stone—who famously portrayed Billie Jean King in the "Battle of the Sexes" film seven years ago—who took home the top prize of Best Actress for her performance in "Poor Things."

But the BNP Paribas Open's No. 11 seed wasn't impressed by another big winner, the World War II historical drama "Oppenheimer," which took home seven awards including Best Picture and Best Director for Christopher Nolan.

"Can someone explain [to] me, what’s so unbelievable about Oppenheimer movie? Thanks," Kasatkina wrote in another post.

Opinion amongst Kasatkina's followers was divided: Some loved it ("Just extraordinary filmmaking, beautiful image, and crazy good acting."); others hated it ("Let me know when you find out, I'm wondering the same."). "Your vlogs are better," one fan even quipped.

But one comment in particular drew Kasatkina's ire, and she clapped back appropriately as one told her to "stick with tennis."

"So cause I’m a tennis player, I cannot be interested in anything in this world?" she queried, and later added: "You must be fun at parties."

Kasatkina wasn't the only member of the tennis family who was tuned into the show at home. Former doubles world No. 1 and current commentator and coach Rennae Stubbs and eight-time Grand Slam singles champion Chris Evert were also watching, and the topic of debate between the two legends was the award for Best Actor.

Won by Cillian Murphy for his performance as the title character in "Oppenheimer," Evert fully threw her support behind Bradley Cooper for his performance as the composer Leonard Bernstein in the romance-biopic "Maestro."

"Am I the only one who thinks Bradley Cooper deserves the Oscar?" Evert asked. "I thought he was brilliant..."

"They’re all great. Paul G [Giamatti, nominated for "The Holdovers"] was also amazing. Jeffrey Wright, honestly all were amazing but Cilian took the cake," Stubbs replied, while also saying that Ryan Gosling and the cast of "Barbie" "stole the entire show" with a performance of the film's famous song, "I'm Just Ken."
