This year, Wozniacki has been making more of a literal statement every time she steps out at Flushing Meadows—thanks to a personalized Adidas Z.N.E. zip-up hoodie that pays tribute to her career and journey.

Emblazoned on the right chest with a “#1”, the silhouette of a trophy, and the number 30, Wozniacki’s outfit highlights her highest ranking, her 2018 Australian Open victory, and the singles titles she’s racked up so far.

Another personal touch can be found on her right sleeve: The names of her children, Olivia and James, whom she shares with husband David Lee, a former basketball player for the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors.

Wozniacki, who retired in 2020, gave birth to Olivia in 2021 and James in 2022, and then surprised the tennis world with the announcement that she was set to return to action last summer.

The 34-year-old recently admitted that she still struggles with bouts of “mom guilt” during the second chapter of her tennis career, as she reflected on the continued search for ‘balance’ between motherhood and elite sport.

“My kids are there every single day, and I really appreciate it. It's the best job in the world, and I love it,” Wozniacki said during a post-match press conference in Queens.

“But also, I try to make sure that I am still there as a 100% present mom, while I'm also trying to balance being the best tennis player that I possibly can be,” she added. “I think that's where sometimes it can get a little tricky.

“Obviously my family is the most important thing to me, but at the same time, I love winning… Sometimes that ‘mom guilt’ comes out, but I try and manage it as well as I can.”

Currently ranked world No. 71, Wozniacki reached the fourth round at the US Open for the second consecutive year with straight-sets victories over Nao Hibino, Renata Zarazua and Jessika Ponchet.

She bowed out to No. 22 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia on Monday, falling 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 on Louis Armstrong Stadium.
