The first week at Wimbledon made waves amongst the A-list: As Lil Wayne's earnest appreciation of Jelena Ostapenko continued to blossom, three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes and actor Matthew McConaughey also enjoyed the grass-court action.

As part of a visit to Europe that also included Morgan Wallen's London concert and a visit to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Amsterdam, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, were glued to their Centre Court seats for the nearly four hours of play between Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe in Friday's third round at the All England Club.

Alcaraz's rallied from two-sets-to-one down for a 5-7, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-2 win, extending his five-set record at Grand Slams to 12-1. And three-time Super Bowl MVP Mahomes, who knows a thing or two about rising to the occasion in the clutch, took to X, formerly Twitter, to laud the pair's effort.

Mahomes' visit to the All England Club also included a reunion with Nick Kyrgios, who's working the tournament as a commentator. The pair are part of the investment group (along with Naomi Osaka and musician Kygo) in Miami Pickleball Club, a professional team in Major League Pickleball—and Kyrgios was quick to called out their shared interest.

"pleasure bro.. let’s play some pickleball soon," Kyrgios wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Danielle Collins found herself as the latest target for one of Hollywood's biggest tennis fans, actor Matthew McConaughey.

After a clay-court season in which the Dazed and Confusedstar was plugged into the results of Novak Djokovic and Tommy Paul, among others, McConaughey turned his attention to praising Collins in her best-ever Wimbledon run. The 2022 Australian Open finalist, who is retiring from tennis at the end of this year, is through to the fourth round at the All England Club for the first time.
