Dominic Thiem, who won the 2020 US Open and the hearts of tennis fans around the world, played his final professional match on Tuesday. The Austrian ended his illustrious career at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna with a 7-6 (6), 6-2 loss to Luciano Darderi.

But there was the match, and there was the celebration that followed.
