There are a lot of interviews to be done when you're a newly minted Olympic champion. Monica Puig returned stateside after her gold medal finish in Rio, and talked about her victory in one of her first interviews.

The 22-year-old is understandably still processing her recent success.

"It was an unforgettable experience. I'm still super excited about the whole thing and I feel like it's still all a dream," Puig said on Telemundo's morning show Un Nuevo Día (A New Day).

The Puerto Rican was also treated to a performance of "Qué Bonita Bandera" and "La Borinqueña" (her nation's national anthem) by Grammy-award winner Elvis Crespo.
