Rafael Nadal is finding his form on grass before Wimbledon, at least on the golf course.

The 36-year-old world No. 5 competed in the Balearic Golf Championships in Mallorca on Sunday, and finished fifth with a score of 78 on the second day of the event.

That followed five days of practice on the grass courts at the Mallorca Country Club, which is hosting this week's ATP 250 event in Mallorca.

Nadal, though, is not playing the tournament, having already traveled to London on Monday. He is scheduled to play two exhibition matches this week in Hurlingham, starting against Stan Wawrinka and then Felix Auger-Aliassime.

He has also been training on the grounds of Wimbledon.

Nadal, who is coming off a record-extending 14th French Open victory, had a press conference four days ago and spoke positively about the effects of the two sessions of foot treatment he had in Barcelona and confirmed he was aiming to play Wimbledon.

"I experienced some improvements, different feelings on my foot," he said. “I take that like a positive thing.

“I was able to practice the whole week, increasing a little bit the amount of work. So I’m positive about that.”

He also confirmed that he and his wife, Maria Francisca, are expecting their first child.

Nadal will be the second seed at Wimbledon, since No. 1 Daniil Medvedev and No. 2 Alexander Zverev are not playing the event. Novak Djokovic will be the top seed.
