Rio's mixed doubles draw is finally out, after much anticipation and speculation. Despite the mixed event being part of the Grand Slams, the Olympic Games tends to attract the biggest stars, seeking a little extra gold.

After  being knocked out in the first round of both singles and doubles, Venus Williams is getting a third chance by playing with Rajeev Ram.

Jamie Murray will also try to redeem his Olympic campaign after falling in the first round of men’s doubles with brother Andy. Jamie and Johanna Konta will face American's Jack Sock and Bethanie Mattek-Sands.

Though neither Garbine Mugurza or Rafael Nadal play doubles regularly, they’ll be a star attraction. The Spaniards take on Czechs Lucie Hradecka and Radek Stepanek.

The top seeds are Caroline Garcia and Nicolas Mahut (who was the top seed in doubles with Pierre-Hugues Herber but didn't win a match), while the second seeds are also French (Herbert is teaming up with Kristina Mladenovic).
