To whom much is given, much is expected, and Andy Roddick remains a pillar of that truism put into action.

Through his eponymous Andy Roddick Foundation, the former No. 1—the last American male to reach the pinnacle of tennis—is helping children and families in his home state of Texas. "We have to serve families that put their faith in us," Roddick said.

Roddick's work didn't go unnoticed by his fellow-philanthropist peers. One Roger Federer saluted his pal, whose on-court goals he foiled many a time on court:

In recent weeks, Roddick has been serving as a regular contributor on Tennis Channel, and has pushed out a campaign called #LoveAll to collect uplifting videos from the public.
