"Tenniscore," the preppy, athletic fashion aesthetic that's suitable for wear both on and off the tennis court, is having its moment, thanks to the Zendaya-led Hollywood blockbuster *Challengers*, and with it, is coming a new Uniqlo collaboration between Roger Federer and Irish designer Jonathan Anderson that's inspired by that motif.

Last year, Federer and Anderson's JW Anderson label collaborated together on their first Uniqlo line, which was a modern, stylish and classic capsule collection. Their newest effort is vintage-inspired, with parkas, polos, T-shirts, shorts and joggers inspired by tennis apparel from the 1970s and 1980s to create "a simple yet sophisticated uniform for players and non-players alike."

"Whether for a walk, a run, or a match, this collection encapsulates the joys of play, on and off the court," the brand adds, and Federer agreed.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Jonathan again, bringing together his unique vision with Uniqlo's expertise in creating stylish and functional products,” Federer said. “I hope everyone enjoys wearing these pieces, whether it’s on the tennis court, for other sports, or in casual settings.”

A lightweight parka, which comes in gray, navy and muted mint-green colorways, is one of the collection's highlights, and it also includes nylons joggers, shorts, a classy V-neck tee, and a variety of polo shirts in striped and solid prints. The polos utilize Uniqlo's comfort-conditioning Airism technology, as well as its sweat-wicking Dry-Ex fabric.

“I believe we’ve crafted items that not only resonate with the essence of sport but also serve as versatile everyday wear that everyone can enjoy," Anderson said.

The latest Roger Federer by JW Anderson collection will launch on May 16, and retails between $29.90 and $59.90.
