Serena, Biles star in new Nike ad

The likes of historically and recently decorated Olympians including Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and Allyson Felix are saluted in a new "Nike: In Pursuit" commercial that is short-lived but effective and inspiring.

The all-of-40-seconds video's impact is also felt in the music it features, namely Lissie's exquisite cover of Kid Cudi's 2010 track "Pursuit of Happiness." In the original song, the rapper dishes out the words "Everything that shines ain't always gonna be gold." Based on her Rio quests in singles and doubles, Serena certainly knows that to be true.

All the pursuing in this Nike campaign serves as a good reminder: It's not about where you end up, it's about the chase. Take it from these women. They know.
