Serena Williams: ‘I would have had 30’ Slams if I didn’t have to play Venus (and she would've had at least 15)

On Sunday, the Associated Press named Serena Williams as their female Athlete of the Decade. In the 2010’s, Serena racked up 12 Grand Slam singles titles and spent over three years as world’s No. 1.

Three of her five AP Female Athlete of the Year awards came during the last decade, in 2013, 2015 and 2018. She also won in 2002 and 2009.

Lebron James was named the male Athlete of the Decade.
