Serena's third-round showdown with sister Venus was highly anticipated. Their 30th meeting would end up one-sided in the favor of Serena, who was just relieved it was over.

"It feels good for the match to be over with," she said.  Win or lose, it just feels good that that's done."

NEW YORK—Serena Williams has been the most dominant storyline at the US Open this year. She's safely through to the quarterfinals with the loss of just one set. Here are all of her highlights from her solid work so far.

1

She started her week off as the queen of New York, hosting an event for young girls alongside her Nike dress designer Virgil Abloh.

She also appeared in a powerful Chase ad, declaring "Mama said knock you out." It's a song with lyrics that Serena delivers with her daughter Olympia. One year ago during the US Open, Serena was at the hospital giving birth.

4

Serena also had time for some fun events before the competition began, including a badminton match with Rafael Nadal.

Her daughter Olympia turned one, and will get to show off a pair of new kicks that are just like her mom's, also designed by Abloh.

Abloh is one of the hottest designers in fashion at the moment. With Off-White Brand and Nike, he put together and a night and day look fit for a queen.

7

Nike rolled out a touching commercial in time for the US Open in honor of the 23-time Grand Slam champion. The sixty-second compilation, complete with flashbacks to her childhood, was the talk of the town.

"I can't say I remember that practice actually, but I definitely remember a lot of those moments, a lot of that time," Williams said. "It's just a really special, special spot."
