Serena Williams appeared on the TODAY Show this week to promote her partnership with Pampers and the new commercial with her daughter for the Cruiser Fit 360.

"I love that my child is wild," she said. "For me it’s a different world. It’s like wild is great, why is wild a bad thing? She’s curious, she’s learning different things. I love that she wants to explore and kind of just wants to be herself."

Olympia's an extremely active one-year-old, having almost entirely skipped crawling to go straight to walking and running.

The 37-year-old Williams covered a few topics while on the set in New York City including her daughter and husband, her knee injury and her legacy.

While disappointed to withdraw from the Miami Open, Williams got a few well-earned days off, though she's already back to training.

"I don't get time off," she said. "So when I had to pull out of the tournament because of my knee it was like, OK what do I do now? I enjoyed it... It was fun while it lasted."

Williams is currently ranked No. 11.
