This week, Venus and Serena Williams sat down (online) with one of the most recognizable supermodels of her time Naomi Campbell to talk about their journey. The hour-long chat was a part of Campbell's "No Filter with Naomi" series on YouTube, where she talks to special guests live.

The sisters talked about their family and how their ascent to the top was filled with major highs and some lows, but family is what kept them focused.

"You both have always held such an integrity and elegance about both of you,  but yet a peacefulness," Campbell said.

"We want mom and dad to be proud," Venus said. "I think that's important too. You always want your parents to be proud of you, no matter how old you are or if your parents have past on you that's their legacy.

"I'm just happy to hold a racquet, I really think that's what Serena and I were meant to do."

What they both can do with a racquet has led them to legendary status. Combined, they have won 30 singles Grand Slams, 14 doubles majors and five Olympic gold medals.

While winning titles, the sisters both picked up fashion school degrees. Although they had their fair share of meltdowns due to the overwhelming stress of playing professional tennis and going to school, it was all worth it.

Venus spoke at length about her clothing company Eleven, saying that no matter where customers are, at home or in the office, Eleven aims to make them feel their best so they can do their best.

"No one says, 'Hey I don't want to be my best', even if you're a couch potato, you want to excel at that maybe," Venus said.

Although the world is revolving at a much slower pace, the sisters are busier than ever with their businesses and daily schedules (at home). But, like everyone else, they miss tennis.

"We missed our tournaments in our home states of California and Florida," Venus said "And so it's kind of hard to see this domino happening and knowing that you won't have a chance to do anything for a long time."

Campbell asked the sisters how they felt about being role models for so many underprivileged children and young women. Venus and Serena mentioned Althea Gibson, Arthur Ashe and others who helped pave the way, but both are happy to be activating change as a source of inspiration for others who come from similar backgrounds.

"Venus and I were able to change that narrative and say that actually people who have less can do better, because they'll want to work even harder and they will want to improve their situation," Serena said.

With their success comes trials and tribulations, but they were never wavered and Venus pointed out a great aspect of playing the game.

"The great part of tennis is you can let your racquet do the talking," she said.

The Williams sisters have been through it all together, and it's rare to see them interviewed together, let alone for an hour. Through the highs and lows, the fun questions and the hard, their bond was visible for al viewers to see.

"No one on this planet, no one understands what I go through except for Venus," Serena said. "She is the only person I will talk to after I lose, not my husband, nobody."
