The Break: Serena Williams dedicates song to Sharapova at the ESPY’s

Are you ready for some football? Serena Williams is!

Posting a video on her Instagram account, Williams said it was "pretty dope" to be on the field at New Orleans' Superdome, where the Kansas City Chiefs and Philiadelphia Eagles will play for Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.

"I think I could definitely not play football," the former world No. 1 confessed, before deciding to get into the spirit of the occasion. Declaring "YOLO," or "you only live once," Williams decided to run the length of the field, predicting that she could run the 100 yards between end zones in 60 seconds.

"When is the next time I'm going to be able to run on a field?" she asked the camera, before quipping: "Well, I can do [that at the Miami] Dolphins." (Williams and her sister Venus have been minority owners of the Dolphins since 2009.)

First breaking out into a slow jog, Williams picked up the pace at midfield as she was cheered on by other attendees in the still-closed stadium.

Williams' New Orleans weekend also included copious amounts of beignet treates (if her Instagram story is any indication) and attending Michael Rubin’s annual invite-only Fanatics Super Bowl Party alongside other famous faces including including Orlando Bloom, Pete Davidson, Emma Roberts, Travis Scott, Martha Stewart and Shaquille O'Neal

While Williams made no indication in her post as to if she was rooting for the Chiefs or Eagles, Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, revealed that their eldest daughter, 7-year-old Olympia, is rooting for "Taylor Swift's team."

“I haven’t converted Olympia yet," the noted Washington Commanders fan said. "... She says, ‘Papa, the Commanders are my number three team, the Dolphins are my number two team, and Taylor Swift’s team is my number one team.”
