The French Open main draw gets underway on Sunday. Amidst all of the storylines that are waiting to unfold, there's one part of a Grand Slam that is always guaranteed to get tons of attention: the outfits.

Serena Williams will return to Paris for the first time in two years. She's playing in her first Grand Slam as a mother (though technically, she was a mom-to-be when she won the Australian Open in 2017 while pregnant). The 36-year-old will be wearing a special pair of kicks when she walks onto Phillippe Chatrier stadium.

The Nike Blazer Mid SW commemorates the 23-time Grand Slam champion's return to Roland Garros.

Maria Sharapova is also back on the Parisian grounds after a few years away. She last played in 2015, before missing 15 months on tour with a drug suspension and with not receiving a wild card last season. She, too, happens to have her own special edition Nike shoe—though it's got nothing to do with the French Open.

Sharapova enters the clay-court Slam with an improved ranking of No. 29 after reaching the semifinals in Rome. The 31-year-old revealed the dress she'll be wearing, which matches the blue color tones everyone is seeing on the Nike players in the qualifying draw.

The draws will be made on Thursday, and, since Williams will not be seeded, there's a chance these two former No. 1's play each other in the first round.
