Fresh from her exhibition tennis return, Maria Sharapova is taking her return to top form seriously. The Russian is hitting the gym for some boxing sessions, perhaps just what she needs to counter the jabs she's getting from some of her colleagues.

The 29-year-old will need all the stamina and fighting spirit she can get to cope with a return to the WTA tour after a 15-month suspension.

Not only is the former No. 1 putting in time in the boxing gym, she's also hitting the court and traveling to promote her new Sugarpova chocolate, beginning in Boston.

Sharapova will be eligible to compete again in April.
