The Russian's court date over her suspension has been pushed back

Maria Sharapova hasn't played a match for over six months now, but the drag of it all isn't getting her down. Instead of hiding out during her two-year suspension, she's getting out. The former No. 1 may not have been in New York for the US Open, but she made it in time for New York Fashion Week, and she lived it up (though initially claiming she wasn't in town for fashion).

She attended the Harper's Bazaar Icons Party in a Victoria Beckham design.

And she hit the trading floor to be part of BC Charity Day.

In the end, she admitted to finding time for a sneaky Vera Wang show.

And got to hang with (or over) Olympic champion Simone Biles.

What the Russian really could be doing is distracting herself from what's about to go down (hopefully) early next month. Her appeal against the International Tennis Federation has been pushed back a second time. The 29-year-old tested positive for meldonium at the Australian Open, and is currently serving a two-year suspension.
