Maria Sharapova is accustomed to winning and that didn't stop after she decided to hang up her racquets. The five-time Grand Slam champion said farewell to the tour in February, but is still maintaining her winning record off the court with her numerous business investments.

One of Sharapova's latest ventures is with the wearable ankle and wrist weights company, Bala. It's really not surprising that Sharapova went all in with the fitness brand that offers a unique and elegant twist to working out.

She appeared on ABC's Shark Tank and joined forces with Mark Cuban who offered Bala founders Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevitz $900K for a 30 percent stake in the company. It's exactly what the couple asked for and they didn't hesitate in accepting the deal.

On her first Shark Tank episode, Sharapova was a natural and used her killer instinct to land a great deal.

With many wearable weighted accessories already in the market, burst onto the scene in 2018 and differentiated itself with chic and stylish bangles in an array of colors.

"Our products are designed to amplify the fitness benefits of just about any routine," said Holloway. "Bala products were designed to inspire movement. Our bangles are comfortable, functional and they make me feel like you can take on the world or a hour-long Pilates class."

On Shark Tank, Sharapova said that she only invests in companies that she believes in. So, if anyone doubted Bala before, the former No. 1 is wiping that away with her endorsement.

Bala is continuing to reach milestones and is now offered in over 1,000 retail locations worldwide and is expanding their product line past their staple bangles. Customers can now swing away using the new "Power Ring." Kettlebell who? Bala doesn't seem to know her.

Though she'll be absent from a Grand Slam for the first time since her retirement, she's guaranteed that a lot of eyes will still be following her every move next week.
