Sharapova unveils scary Sugarpova candy

The spiders are hitting stores just in time for Halloween.

The same week as her return to exhibition (if not yet competitive pro) tennis, Maria Sharapova continued her assault on the wide world of candy. Just in time for that impending ghoulish, frightful, and otherwise most delightful of holidays, Halloween, she debuted "spooky sour" gummies in her Sugarpova line.

Delivered with a "Watch Out, I Bite" tagline, the treat will surely go gangbusters (or ghostbusters?) on shelves globally. The goodies appeared at the Sweet Factory in Henderson Nevada, where Sharapova appeared early this week near Las Vegas.

"Relax—we’ve got you in our web and there’s no escaping," says the spooky-sour write-up at Sugarpova.com. "So cuddle up with these fruit-flavored gummy spiders and don’t try to fight it."

That almost reads like something Donald Trump would say. Speaking of, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf—please don your fabulous Halloweekend apparel and literally save the day!
