Sharapova, Wozniacki attend Oscars after party

Many movie stars were out celebrating at the most distinguished after parties following Hollywood's big night at the Oscars. Tennis was not left off the guest list as two Grand Slam champions were spotted at the Vanity Fair party in Los Angeles.

Donning beautiful gowns, Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki traded their Nike and Adidas court wear for elegant evening wear.

"It takes a village," said Sharapova on her latest Instagram caption. The 32-year-old wasn't lying; she worked with a full team of skincare specialists, makeup artist Molly R. Stern and fashion stylist Tracy Taylor on her Oscar party look.

Sharapova wore a lime-green maxi dress by Valentino that flowed effortlessly as she walked down the carpet. The Russian posed for photos with her boyfriend Alexander Gilkes at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills.

Wozniack, who retired last month in Melbourne, was shining bright in a metallic-silver Monique Lhuillier dress, sprinkled with glittering stars.

The 2018 Australian Open champion also worked with a stylist, hair stylist and makeup artist Gina Brooke. Brooke works with many actors and top models such as Alessandra Ambrosio.

After the eventful night, Sharapova jumped on a plane and headed to New York for Fashion Week. Sharapova only had three hours of sleep before she was getting ready for Evian water's event at Milk Studios. Unfortunately, she didn't have enough time to shower, but as always pulled off another stylish look.

Sharapova suffered a first-round loss in Melbourne against the No. 19 seed Donna Vekic. Wozniacki fell to Ons Jabeur in the tournament's third round; closing out a successful 15 years on the WTA tour.
