In their fifth final of the season Salisbury and Rajeev Ram squeezed past Marcelo Melo and Lukasz Kubot, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 10-5, to take home the Vienna title. Salisbury pulled out all the tricks in order to defeat the 2017 Wimbledon champions.

It appeared the point was over when Melo threw up a perfect lob over Salisbury, but the Brit chased it down to hit an unbelievable cross-court tweener for a winner. The Vienna crowed erupted in cheers after Salisbury's unexpected passing shot. Salisbury and Ram took home their second doubles title of the season that day.
