Simona Halep shares photo series from wedding day

Simona Halep is no longer a single lady. On Wednesday in Constanta she married billionaire businessman Toni Iuruc in Romania. The world was patiently awaiting to see more scenes from the special day, and on Thursday Halep shared ten photos from the civil ceremony and reception.

Halep looked absolutely stunning in her golden flowy dress during the day, but for the reception she ditched the sleeves for a dress that showed off her shoulders. With her hair effortlessly falling down her back she was glowing in the all white dress on the dance floor.

Many expected Halep's day just to consist of the official marriage signing, which is typical in Romania. However, the couple decided to celebrate their love all day long. The marriage signing ceremony appeared to welcome friends and family underneath a beautiful sunshade as fluffy pampas grass surrounded them. Many of the same guests also joined the newlyweds at the reception, which was held indoors, but the exact location has yet to be revealed.

Halep also took to her Instagram stories to show fans the process of her getting ready with a series of behind-the-scenes photos.

The two-time major champion fell in the round of 16 at the US Open before heading back to prepare for the memorable day.
