The American men took center stage on Sunday for the first day of the Italian Open, playing in four of the five main-draw matches.
They did pretty well for themselves, too, going 3 for 4, all against formidable opponents.
Jack Sock, with a convincing 6-3, 6-4 win, leveled his career head-to-head with longtime Top 10 mainstay David Ferrer at two wins apiece.
