Old friends reunited over the weekend as Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her daughter Princess Lilibet spent an afternoon playing board games with 23-time Grand Slam champion and dedicated "auntie" Serena Williams.

“When the aunties come to celebrate … and to play! Love you @serenawilliams,” Meghan wrote in a video shared to her Instagram story.

Williams and Meghan have been longtime friends since meeting at the 2010 Super Bowl, with Meghan spotted supporting the former world No. 1 at various tennis matches over the years and Williams even attending Meghan and Prince Harry's royal wedding along with husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia.

This time it was family game night with the Sussexes, featuring the tiny princess and her "auntie" Serena. Even the boardgame was all pinked up for the occasion, with the personalized Candy Lane box reading “Archie & Lili Candy Land”—a nod to Harry and Meghan's children, Princess Lilibet, 3, and Prince Archie, 5.

Williams joins the Royal Family in celebrating the launch of Markle’s new Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

“3 days until the party begins. All are invited ❤️ @netflix,” Markle said on her Instagram story featuring former world No. 1 and Princess Lilibet on Saturday.

Premiering on Tuesday, Markle shares cooking, gardening, and hosting tips in her California estate alongside friends and famous guests.

"It’s a fun and inspiring series that reminds us all how easy it is to bring a little beauty into our everyday lives, even when we least expect it. Can’t wait for you to experience it! 💖" Serena said in her own Instagram post supporting her friend, the Duchess.

Williams shared some news of her own this week, as she joins ownership group of Toronto Tempo WNBA team, She also made a stylish appearance at the Oscars on Sunday, sharing photos alongside world No. 3 Coco Gauff who was also in attendance.

Gauff, of course, is in town for the BNP Paribas Open in nearby Indian Wells, where the No. 3 seed earns her a bye. She awaits the winner of Emma Raducanu and Moyuka Uchijima in the second round.
