World No. 1 Novak Djokovic won his sixth Wimbledon and record-tying 20th career Grand Slam title on Sunday, rallying from a set down to beat grass-court giant-killer Matteo Berrettini in the final, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

And now comes the talk of a potential Calendar Grand Slam.

The only man in the Open Era to complete a Calendar Slam was Rod Laver, who achieved the feat in 1969, which was actually the first full year of the Open Era (which began at 1968 Roland Garros).

Since Laver won all four majors in 1969, no man had even won the first three majors of the year until Djokovic this year, the Serb winning his ninth Australian Open title (beating Daniil Medvedev in the final), his second Roland Garros title (beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final) and now his sixth Wimbledon (beating Berrettini in the final).

Djokovic is the fifth man in tennis history to win the first three majors of the year:
~ Jack Crawford in 1933 (did not win US Open)
~ Don Budge in 1938 (won US Open)
~ Lew Hoad in 1956 (did not win US Open)
~ Rod Laver in 1962 (won US Open) and 1969 (won US Open)

Will Djokovic join Budge and Laver as the only men in history to win the Calendar Slam?
