They’re No. 5 and No. 7 on the ATP rankings, but Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev are now No. 1 and No. 2 in the Race To Turin after their fantastic performances in Monte Carlo last week, with the Greek winning his first Masters 1000 title and the Russian reaching his first Masters 1000 final.

This year’s Nitto ATP Finals will be held in Turin, Italy after spending 12 years at the O2 in London.

“That is great,” Tsitsipas said. “It’s just the beginning. We still have plenty of tennis to be played this year. Great to be in the lead. I’m not trying to think of it too much, because, again, many tournaments in front of me, ahead of me. I’m going to try to recalibrate, refocus. Attention is now in Barcelona.”

Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev had been No. 1 and No. 2 in the Race To Turin for the last eight weeks in a row since the Australian Open—they’re now No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Tsitsipas and Rublev have won more tour-level matches than anyone this year—the Russian leads with 24, followed by the Greek with 22. Medvedev is in third place for most tour-level wins with 17.
